Alexander was the result of many months of patience and
perseverance.
I was determined to find a Ruby boy, with all of the qualities, health, confirmation & bloodlines
that I had been searching for. "Little Richard" as he was originally named, was a perfect match. I'd talked
extensively with his breeder, and told her exactly what I had been hoping for; a show quality Ruby Boy. When he finally arrived, he bounded out of his crate & wanted
to kiss every one in sight! There was not an ounce of shyness or timidness in this "little" boys body! Even to this
day, he has yet to have a "bad" day, where he is owly. He is the most well adapted, happy boy in the world. Even
finding out at his vet visit, with Dr.Johnson, that he is a cryptorchid didn't dampen his spirits. That diagnosis did
however squelch any dreams we'd had of Xander making it to Westminster. Oh well Xan, you're still perfect in
mommy's eyes!! So we have decided to let Xander rule our roost as yet another one of retired kids!!!
